Scottish Continuity Sponsors CIR Awards

Scottish Continuity has once again this year been pleased and proud to be invited to sponsor an award for the annual CIR Awards, the de facto event recognising the great and the good of the Business Continuity industry in the UK.

On Wednesday 25th May 2011 the Business Continuity Awards took place in London at The Hilton Park Lane. Charlie Maclean-Bristol is Director of Training at Plan B Consulting (second from the left, flanked by Scottish Continuity board members Alan Dawson and Niall Kinloch) and was shortlisted in a fiercely contested category with 7 other consultants from throughout the UK for 'Business Continuity Consultant of the Year'.

The award was presented to Charlie by Alan and Niall, Directors of Scottish Continuity, pictured along with the Comedian Kevin Bridges, who was the excellent and hilarious host for the awards. The award was decided by a 10 strong independent panel of industry experts, the award citation stated "despite some outstanding entries there was one that stood above the rest..."

Well done Charlie!
